OSSF Installer I Services
Standard OSSF installation work within the scope of a Texas Installer I license.
Texas authorizes an OSSF Installer I to install standard OSSF systems. This includes septic tanks with authorized standard disposal methods such as absorptive drainfields, unlined ET drainfields, leaching chambers, gravel-less pipe, and pumped effluent drainfields.
What this page does not claim
An Installer I license does not authorize installation of every type of OSSF. The services offered do not represent Installer I authority as Installer II authority, site-evaluator authority, designated-representative authority, or aerobic maintenance-provider authority.
Permits still matter
OSSF construction, installation, alteration, extension, and repair generally require approval from the applicable permitting authority. Contact QRF with the property location and planned work so the scope can be evaluated before scheduling.
